The seventh chakra is the doorway to a higher spiritual dimension.
“I am the baptism of the light. Come through Me and you will be born anew.”
The seventh, or crown chakra is the portal to the Infinite. It is through this passageway that the soul enters the body in the beginning of life and through which we can consciously leave the body at its end. It is our connection to our Higher Self, and the Heavenly Abode which is Its home.
By meditating on this chakra we can directly enter the Higher Realms. But be aware that doing so can cause us to transcend our earthly existence – and if it is not yet time for this life to end, this can weaken our connection to earthly life. Therefore, when we go consciously through this doorway, it is important to stay firmly connected to the first chakra and the Earth.
“If the sixth chakra is about perceiving a higher reality, the seventh chakra is the portal through which we become one with that reality.”
Just as the intention we bring to the sixth chakra determines what we contact with our spiritual sight, so also does that conscious intent affect what we experience in the seventh chakra.
But the consciousness we have when we enter seventh chakra is even more important because it will guide us to a new reality. Our thoughts and prayers will govern where we go when we pass through its gate. Will we go to a dimension of unconditional love and bliss? Or will we enter lower realms that prevent us from ascending further?
Christ said “In my Father’s house are many mansions.”[1] The “mansions” He was referring to are different planes of existence within the spiritual realm. The love we have garnered in this life will determine which one we will abide in.
This is not something we can summon in the last minute. It is created by our thoughts and desires throughout our life. Did we live guided by love? Or was it simply one of following our selfish desires? For this reason, place your mind on the Highest Love. This is especially important when you enter the seventh chakra.
